Jack specialises in shooting live music using both traditional video and cine, as well as remote PTZ cameras. His broadcast experience includes: operating remote cameras for Celtic Connections Festival 2022 and various other crew roles for music, factual entertainment and scripted TV.

Prior to becoming a freelancer, he spent two years with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, co-developing their own in-house concert filming capabilities and directing the orchestra's live and pre-recorded performances. Here, he cut his teeth working with professional musicians, developing his techniques for creating films that truly capture the energy and spirit of their performances.
